Before
Civica Law assisted the City with initial contact to the property owner’s next of kin. When there was no response from them, Civica Law reached out to the property owner’s nephew. He would become the interested party and entered into a compliance agreement with deadlines to rehabilitate the property. The interested party experienced obstacles during the probate and title of the estate processes, so Civica Law was happy to assist.
After
“This property was a top priority for our team due to the deceased owner’s sensitive situation and the health and public safety issues to neighbors. Our team quickly and effectively worked with the City to find an interested party to renew the property and gain full compliance.”
Results
Within a timely schedule, the property was remediated, and full compliance was achieved. Civica Law is proud to contribute to the safety of communities with a personal approach. Civica Law was able to efficiently bring this Chino residence, once orphan property, up to code.
