Civica Law has an opening in its Irvine office for a 2024 2L Summer Intern interested in civil litigation. The Legal Intern will perform substantive work comparable to our Post-Bar Law Clerks and first year attorneys, and gain knowledge in a wide variety of matters, as well as practical experience in legal drafting, x, x,. This position may lead to an opportunity as a full-time attorney with the firm.

Our areas of practice focus on serving cities and counties in protecting and improving their communities through code enforcement, housing standards, receiverships, nuisance abatement, land use and zoning law.  The ideal candidate will be proactive and versatile.  Candidates must be adaptable and possess solid organizational, writing, and analytical skills, with attention to detail.  In addition, the right candidate will have the ability to think and operate independently to solve unique issues as they are faced by the firm.

Most importantly, we seek a candidate who possesses a hard-working, positive, and service-oriented character.  Public agency experience is not required – the firm is willing to train the right individual to join our team.  We prize character, integrity and a good work and team ethic over specific experience.
