    More About Amy L. Askin

    Before becoming an attorney, Ms. Askin worked extensively in the mental health and substance abuse recovery field, where she facilitated group sessions and supported clients in their journey toward stability and growth. This background gives her a unique perspective on the challenges individuals face and informs her commitment to thoughtful, balanced prosecution.

    During law school, Ms. Askin competed in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and the ABA Law Student Division Negotiation Competition. She also served in the International Human Rights Clinic, where she contributed to advocacy before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. In addition, she held editorial leadership roles as Managing Technical Editor of the Santa Clara Journal of International Law and as Co-Editor-in-Chief of The Advocate, the school’s award-winning student newspaper.

    Ms. Askin is dedicated to ensuring fairness and integrity in the justice system, with a focus on promoting accountability, public safety, and community trust.
